Making the Scripture Mine

To be fully equipped for a God-centered, God-led life, we need to find the central stability Paul speaks of in Philippians 4:11-13. Such hope! Such confidence! Such peace! He sounds fully ready to encounter glory or demise, as long as God is alongside him. He seems to casually say, “Bring it on. I’m ready.”

Read the passage again slowly, as if you were writing the words yourself to other believers in a faraway land. How would you make the words your own, reaching out to the believers?
